Good job having a holiday centered around friends and family who are more likely than not in an entirely different dimension. A+

Emma's parents are both business persons; they were attracted to each other's charisma and drive, but couldn't stand having another alpha in the relationship so the two broke apart on bad terms. They still send Emma gifts and postcards, though!

And Emma's friends are the weirdos in class you tried avoiding as best you could during high school. Introducing Jean, her brother Denim, Rochelle, and Rochelle's *~kawaii boyfriendo~* Sawyer. Emma was going to meet them at a Pokémon rights rally, but we all know how that turned out. :'D 

And and the Yuki-onna's associates are busy... being dead. Yeeeaaaaahhhhh.
